Twenty years ago, a small spinning reel was born that completely changed the standard within DAIWA. The first CERTATE was released with the REAL FOUR concept.
With the birth of CERTATE, DAIWA went out to refine a new standard for performance, and anglers have welcomed the always innovative CERTATE releases over the past two decades
Full metal MONOCOQUE BODY made of aluminum symbolizes the strength that no other reels can provide. An identity that has earned CERTATE the trust of a wide range of anglers over the years. The desire to be strong and tough wherever possible made 24CERTATE even stronger.
Special surface treatment has been added to increase hardness of the drive gear and water resistance has been improved on the handle side, in addition, the drags and pinions of some of the larger models are reinforced to SALTIGA-equivalent specifications.
